Leprechaun shenanigans!

Despite our best efforts, all we managed to catch was a few foot prints and a shoe! Maybe our Kindergarten friends will have better luck this week end!

“Let them be little”

Today was a day of play in preschool! No learning allowed!! The only rules were no electronics or toys with batteries or that make noise! We encouraged children to bring dolls, board games, blocks and blankets to build forts!

Sometimes our Fort had problems!

Snow much learning goin on!!

Snow Dough! Messy, but Oh so fun!
Amazing what you can do with cornstarch and shaving cream!
Using our 5 senses to check out real snow!
The view from our window!
Building with "snowballs"
Do you wanna build a snowman?!
Or a snow fort!
STREAM Engineering design brief! Each child was given 3 different size marshmallows and 5 tooth picks to build the biggest and best snowmen ever!
Our snowmen are like snowflakes! No two the same!
We are so proud of the hard work they put into each snowman!
Today we experimented with hot, warm and cold cocoa and 3 different size marshmallows! We made predictions about what we thought would happen and then made observations a few times in the next few hours to see what was going on! Waiting for results was hard, but so exciting!

Happy New Year!

First let us say Welcome Back to School and Happy New Year! We hope you are all staying warm in these frigid temperatures! Thankfully our classroom is very warm and cozy!

Just a few reminders!
If you have not, please sign up for the remind app! Instructions are posted outside our door! It is a great way to keep in the know as to what is going on in our room and school. It is simple and easy and texts come right to your phone or device!

Also, Please have your child in the room by 8:30. If they come after that, they will already have been marked absent and the lunch count will already have been submitted. You will need to sign them in at the office and go to the cafeteria to order their lunch. Thank you for your help and understanding!

Again, we ask that if your child isn't feeling well, (and we know you are the best judge) please keep them home where they can be comfortable and rest. It is that magical time of the year that we are recycling germs like yesterdays newspapers! If they have a fever, they should be fever free without medication for 24 hours before they return. Please talk to your children about keeping hands (and toys) out of their mouths and fingers out of noses! We have this talk several times a day and wash hands many, many times!

Have your children where their Bills attire or Red, White and Blue tomorrow! 1/ 4/ 18!
